... THE ADVANTAGES OF FACEBOOK ...

Facebook was founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts on February 4, 2004. It is a free-access social networking site that is privately owned by Facebook, Inc. This site has become widely popular within the last few years and has many advantages for both individuals and businesses.

One of the main advantages that Facebook provides for individuals is that it allows them to easily connect with their friends and family wherever they might be. For example, if John went to a college on the East Coast and his friend went to a university on the West Coast, they could still remain in close communication with each other. Now there are other ways that the two friends could remain in contact, such as e-mail or through phone calls and texting. But these alternatives do not provide the depth that Facebook could provide. While John is instant messaging his friend on Facebook, he could view all the pictures and video that his friend had taken of last night's party, for example. It's faster than e-mail and gives more depth than a phone call because it's all right there on the computer screen. This allows John to actually see what was going on at the time.

Another advantage that Facebook gives to individual users is the ability to join groups that match the likes or dislikes of the user. This allows users to discuss topics of interests with others who share those interests. Usually, users would have to use search engines to find forums that match their interests. Facebook allows people who have common interests to connect and allows them to easily share information and ideas. Also, Facebook allows users to share information they found interesting with their family and friends. They could post the links of the sources through Facebook and their friend and family could view them right on the site.

Facebook also has some advantages for businesses. Since Facebook is a giant network of people, businesses can advertise their business to specific groups that would most likely be interested. Those people, if they liked the product, would in turn tell their friends about the company. Facebook, because of its design, speeds up this "word-of-mouth" process. Businesses that use Facebook would be able to reach a wider audience of people then they would otherwise.

Another advantage is that the cost of this advertising is very low. Businesses can save a good amount of advertising budget by using Facebook. Facebook also helps business to develop relationships with their customers and raise the visibility of their company. Facebook is a very good site for both individuals and businesses as it helps them to connect and grow.

Facebook is social software. This is the reason why Facebook and Myspace are appealing to adolescence and university students. These students all the time correspond or communicate explicitly concerning their lives, estimation or opinion, interests, and academics. Though the majority of us working with adults are awkward sharing ideas or information in open surroundings, the social feature of Facebook creates fun and its rapidity of learning knowledge.

Facebook provides us the chance to choose what you desire to share, and what you don’t need to impart, and what you desire to impart with chosen associates.

My View Rgarding Baby Dumping...

Nowadays,there are many cases that we always heard everyday in Malaysia about baby dumping.I am concerned about the recent announcement that those who abandon babies, if the babies die, be investigated for murder or attempted murder.Reports of babies found buried, dumped in dumpsters or wrapped in plastic bags and thrown into rivers have understandably inflamed and outraged the public. This baby-dumping phenomenon is a direct result of our society's failure to acknowledge and address our blinkered viewpoint of sex.I am not sure if you are talking about the story on 48hrs the other night.. It was about a place for young woman to leave there babies.They just put them through a slot in the door into a warm bed.I do not condone dumping babies anywhere, but at least these babies were not dumped in a garbage pile somewhere.The mothers were never
stopped they never have to tell anybody they are the ones who had the babies.These babies had medical treatment right away as this place is monitored 24yrs a day.I realize that will make it almost impossible to find your medical records later.

UiTM CAMPUS LIFE...

Hello everyone...
UiTM Dungun,Terengganu is the place that I never thought to continue my study after SPM because my SPM's result is not too good to further my study.I feel so proud and happy after I in UiTM Dungun in Diploma Food Service Management.People who do not try to enter in this course will not know what this course is study about.Now,July-November2010,I'm in part 2.The new subject that enjoy and fun for me is Basic Western that study in kitchen.Mr.Abd Razak is our lecturer to teach us to cook.We're so lucky to study with him because he is the best lecturer for us.He is a caring lecturer.
